In the classroom, his command over Biology was remarkable. Complex concepts became simple under his guidance, and his teaching style made learning both engaging and meaningful. He didn’t just teach the subject—he brought it to life with clarity and passion.

What truly set him apart, however, was his sincerity and warmth. He created an environment where students felt comfortable, confident, and inspired to grow. His kindness left a lasting impression, shaping not just academic success but personal character.

Sir Javed Kausar proudly belongs to the golden era of Islamabad College for Boys (ICB)—a time remembered for its academic brilliance, discipline, and the nurturing of exceptional minds. As a Senior Teacher and Lecturer in Biology from January 1983 to September 1992, he became an integral part of this remarkable period, shaping young intellects with unwavering dedication.

Known for his humility and kindness, Sir Javed was not just a teacher, but a mentor who inspired respect through his gentle nature and deep commitment to education. His presence in the classroom reflected sincerity, patience, and a genuine passion for nurturing future generations.

Academic Excellence & The Prestigious Japan Scholarship 🇯🇵

A true reflection of his academic brilliance, Sir Javed Kausar earned the highly prestigious Japanese Scholarship, a distinction reserved for the most capable and promising scholars. He pursued advanced studies in Hiroshima, Japan, where his intellectual journey reached new heights.

During his time there, he achieved a Doctor of Science (DSc) degree in Biological Sciences, a qualification recognized as equivalent to a PhD. This remarkable accomplishment stands as a testament to his exceptional intellect, perseverance, and dedication to the field of Biology.

His time in Japan not only elevated his academic stature but also enriched his perspective, which he later brought back to Pakistan—benefiting countless students.

Return to Serve & Continued Excellence

After completing his higher studies, Sir Javed returned to Pakistan and rejoined ICB in April 1997, continuing his mission of academic excellence. His teaching was marked by clarity, depth, and an inspiring approach that left a lasting impact on his students.

He also served at IMCB F-8/4 as a Lecturer and Assistant Professor for three years, before being transferred back to ICB in April 2000 as an Assistant Professor. His journey reflects not just professional growth, but a deep-rooted commitment to education and institutional development.

International Contribution – The Beijing Chapter 🌏

In 2005, Sir Javed Kausar took his expertise to an international platform by joining the Pakistan Embassy College, Beijing. There, he taught Biology to Pakistani students as well as students from various international embassies.

His tenure in Beijing stands as a proud chapter of his career, where he represented Pakistan’s academic excellence with dignity and distinction. Through his teaching, he bridged cultures and inspired students from diverse backgrounds, leaving behind a legacy of knowledge and respect on a global stage.

Leadership, Promotions & Transformational Impact

Sir Javed’s career is a shining example of merit and recognition. He was promoted to BPS-19 (Associate Professor) in 2008 and further elevated to BPS-20 in 2009 (time scale)—a reflection of his consistent excellence and dedication.

Beyond teaching, his leadership abilities truly set him apart. As Vice President of the Central Academic Staff Association in 2011, he played a pivotal role in transforming the academic structure. Through his efforts, hundreds of new posts were approved across senior and junior sections, significantly improving promotion pathways for educators.

His contributions continue to benefit the system even today, ensuring growth opportunities for generations of teachers to come.

A Distinguished Career in Educational Leadership

Throughout his illustrious career, Sir Javed Kausar served in key leadership roles, including Vice Principal at multiple prestigious institutions such as ICB, IMCB G-11/1, and IMCB F-7/3. He also held Principal positions at IMCB F-11/1 and IMCB F-7/3.

In 2021, he retired as Principal of IMCB I-10/1, concluding a remarkable journey defined by service, integrity, and excellence.
