Syed Rizwan Rizvi stands tall among Islamabad College for Boys (ICB) alumni as a beacon of dedication, intellect, and global impact. A proud graduate of ICB (1986–1988), Rizwan Rizvi has carved a path that blends excellence in education with distinguished international service.
Currently serving as the Chief of Budget at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) in Bangkok, Thailand, Rizwan Rizvi brings over two decades of high-level financial leadership to one of the most prestigious international organizations. His extensive UN career includes pivotal roles in budget management, conference planning, AV technology upgrades aligned with ISO standards, and marketing UN conference services to a global audience.
Rizwan’s passion for technology and community service also shines through his long-standing work as the Webmaster of Ziaraat.com, a global platform he has led for over 24 years across countries like Thailand, Mexico, Chile, and Pakistan.
His academic foundation is equally impressive. Following his B.Sc. from ICB, he went on to earn professional credentials from ICMAP as a Cost and Management Accountant, and later, a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the School of Business and Commerce.
Through his life and work, Syed Rizwan Rizvi exemplifies how strong educational roots, vision, and dedication can lead to a meaningful global career.
